photography are welcomed.
Smartphone
photographers
Open for all images taken and retouched
using smartphone. This category open for both hobbyist and
professional.
CATEGORIES:
Portrait: children, family, pets, group, single portrait,
self portrait -selfie, wedding, etc.
Fashion: beauty, fashion, show, etc.
Wedding: engagement portrait, candid pre-wedding, honeymoon,
event, bride, groom, group, family, etc.
Fine Art/Illustrative: collage, portrait still life, abstract,
landscape, special effect, etc.
Advertising: automotive, beauty, music, product, still life,
self promotion, food, shows, etc.
Nature: aerial, flowers, sunset, sunrise, clouds, trees,
wildlife, underwater, seasons, etc.
Event: wedding, cultures, social fathering, other events.
People: portrait, culture, family, children, wedding, etc.
Editorial: sports, political, people, personality, news, etc.
Story-telling photo series: a series of photos that tell a story
Architecture: buildings, cityscape, interiors, industrial,
bridges, etc.
Special: tourism, night photography, panoramic, macro, micro,
special effect, abstract.

1. The submitter guarantee that all
rights and releases has been legally secured, and the submitter
releases the Festival and all its member from any legal action
whatsoever.
Submission rules:
2. Only digital submissions are
permitted. Image files must not larger than 1000 Pixels in
height or width. It must be saved as .jpg, in RGB format and not
exceed 3MB per image.
3. A series of photographs can consist
between 2 up to 10 photos, with single title. All photos must
have a same theme or concept. A photo series will be judged as a
series.
4. All entries are required to submit
digitally. Please submit your digital photos after completing
the online submission form.
5. One photo can be submitted into more
than one category. Please read the photo categories and the
additional fees. It will increase the chances of winning.
6. Photographs could be from any year.
7. Photograph that has won an award or
previously entered into another competitions can be submitted.
General rules:
8. The festival has the right to
disqualify a winning photo for any reasons, without having to
explain the reasons to the photographer/submitter.
9. All submission fees are
non-refundable. You can't alter your entries after the payment.
Please review your work carefully before finalizing payment.
10. Judges' decisions are final and no
correspondence will be entered into concerning the judging of
the competition.
11. Winners will be announced at the
Awards Night 2016. We will also email and published the winners
in the IFPF website.
12. Only the photographer can receive
the physical awards at the award ceremony. Regardless of the
Prize and their winning status, winning photographers who can't
attend the Awards Ceremony in Jakarta, will only receive
laurels.
13. The IFPF reserves the rights to
showcase submitted photos during festival and on the IFPF website
and to use any photos submitted for future IFPF media and
marketing purposes.
14. The Festival Directorate may deny
participation to any photo unable to meet the technical
requirements for a public exhibition of good quality.
15. The Festival Management reserves
the right to make changes in the profile of the Festival, if it
becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond his/her
control.
16. All photographers/submitters are
expected to keep communications with the Festival professional
and in good taste. Failure to do so may result in
disqualification at any point in the adjudication process,
including the nullification of Official Selection status or
nominations. That stated, the Festival will only communicate
with the person who submitted his/her photo/s to the festival,
and that Festival should not be expected to communicate with any
other persons.
17. The festival has the right to work
with any institution and partner festivals for all kind of
cooperation, including joint events or promotions.
18. The Festival reserves the right to
make any necessary changes in regulations or scheduling.
The photographer/submitter also acknowledges that remediation of
any sort will be limited to a refund of their submission fees.
19. All disputes in respect of any
matter relating to the International Film Festivals shall be
subjected to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts
in North Jakarta. Any dispute arising as a result of submission
to the Festival will have a recourse limited to the lesser of
either the submission fee paid, or the cost of correcting the
issue.
By submitting to our Festival, submitters/photographers:
- indicates that they have read, understand, agree with, and
will comply all of the Terms and Condition above, and accept all
of the terms and conditions herein, in their entirety, without
modification.
- agree to indemnify us and hold us and our employees, owners,
affiliates, and partners harmless from all claims and liability
associated with your participation or entry to the Festival. |
