Central Java, a province that
has a long history of art, rich in language, arts, architecture,
and rooted in literature and tradition. The usage of its
language has emphasized the richness of the culture. It is
spoken not only by the Java people, but also in Suriname, New
Caledonia, and several parts in Malaysia.
Entering the digital era, we hope Central Java International
Film Festival (CJIFF)
could popularize the Java culture and history to the world, as
well as to exchange the art and culture through filmmaking.
CJIFF welcomes all filmmakers, newcomer, and students to star in
our festival and to make their hard-worked film shine.

also hold filmmaking workshop and selected screenings.
Winning filmmakers would also be pampered with the magnificent
